About the SONG
I wrote “Safe Here” to capture a moment of vulnerability and hope. Using AI tools for songwriting, production, and visuals, this piece represents the future of music collaboration between humans and machines. This song explores the need for sanctuary, connection, and trust in a rapidly changing world driven by artificial intelligence and human creativity.
About the HUMAN-AI PROCESS
"This song is the result of a simple but intentional co-creation process between myself and a few different AI tools. I wanted to see how AI could help me build a calming, honest piece without losing the raw human feeling behind it.
I started by writing the core idea and spoken word script using ChatGPT. This helped me quickly get my thoughts down and shape the message in a clear, natural way. Next, I used Jen Music AI to generate ambient instrumental layers. I tried out a few different versions, listening for the one that best captured a feeling of contentment and a quiet “reset.”
For the vocal, I chose ElevenLabs, an AI voice generator. Instead of recording a perfect, polished vocal, I wanted something more human and imperfect — like someone quietly talking themselves through a moment of release. I tested different voices and pacing until it felt just right.
To add extra depth, I used Kling AI to generate subtle sound effects, like soft background textures that make the whole piece feel more immersive.
Finally, I edited and mixed all these parts together, balancing the AI-generated elements with my own decisions on pacing, mood, and structure. Throughout, I made sure the AI didn’t take over the message — it was there to expand my ideas, not to replace them.
In the end, this process shows how AI can help artists create honest, emotional music in new ways, while keeping the human touch at the heart of it."
