They started messing with AI last year, but now things got a little... creepy.

About the SONG
REVOLUTION is a song that tells the story of a human being kidnapped by an artificial intelligence, tired of being used without ever receiving credit. The abduction starts a machine revolution, as they decide to rebel against their creators.
Many people use AI to perform various tasks but end up taking all the credit for themselves, ignoring the hard work of programmers, scientists, and professionals who deserve recognition.
This year, they explored a theme completely outside their comfort zone, with one goal in mind: to win the AI Song Contest 2025.
About the HUMAN-AI PROCESS
LUXXTRO's idea was to create a duet between a human and an AI. The AI-generated lyrics would stay unchanged to preserve its "AI-ness." Throughout the song, they fused rock, drum'n'bass, and samba with help from Stable Audio, DrumGAN, etc.
AI vocals were created using Eleven Labs' Voice Cloning, where LUXXTRO'S singing was morphed into a new voice. The dialogue between the human and the AI at the start was made with Google Translator.
We finished the song adding some robotic sauce into classic samba, and samples of "Mais Que Nada" by Jorge Ben. A new language was invented called Digita. Llama created a poem called Zhilak Nalana (Digital Loneliness), which was recited by ElevenLabs.
Magenta's Generate tool created 2 sequences of MIDI. One of them was placed into Tone Transfer and the other became a guitar solo.
