About the TEAM
Our team is a team of one person. My name is Go seonghyeon, an amateur composer and amateur researcher in Korea. I am a person who is interested in producing music using AI. I still think that using both music and AI is harder to create synergy than I thought. So I study AI and music to find out them. In this AI song contest, we thought a lot about to AI model becoming a "useful tool" to help compose, not a "task" in the process of composing.
About the SONG
Future house music with a bright atmosphere, bpm is 128. I wanted to take advantage of the theme of walking toward the future with AI. It's exciting music that highlights the trumpet-based (probably) lead instruments and emphasizes the bass. I'd appreciate it if you enjoyed listening to it!
About the HUMAN-AI PROCESS
I used ChatGPT-4 to generate lyrics. The lyrics were obtained by saying, "Express the theme of "Walking with AI" with lyrics of Future House music without using the word AI directly." Vocal generation used Synthesizer V.(especially Kevin Plugin). And I wrote the main melody of the lyrics. The melody was given as a condition directly to the model in my individual research, that uses some graph technique. The basic framework was set with this model and some part was cherry-picked and used. I thought about using some music Mastering AI, and heard some of their results, but I didn't actually use it.
