About the TEAM
I’m in MARG Lab in Korea, as a master. I’m doing music as a hobby. I want to find a way to make good music to the world by doing AI research and music producing at the same time. To be honest, I don't think my music and AI skills are outstanding. However, it is expected that my music skill and AI skill will be able to fill each weaknesses.
About the SONG
It is a future bass genre EDM music. I tried to use as many artificial intelligence tools as possible. The theme of this music is the process by which the singer tries to know someone's “mind”. In other words, this topic was based on the lyrics created by the artificial intelligence model. This song uses vocaloid for singing voice, I'm not used to using Vocaloid well, but I tried not to be awkward as much as I could.
About the HUMAN-AI PROCESS
I wanted to use AI in as many places as possible. Maybe there are parts that are forced to use (Some lyrics, or beats), and some parts that are actually greatly helped (Main Melody) Specifically, I worked with the help of AI in all of the main melody of this music, most of the verses, part of the drum beat, and lyrics.
In the case of the main melody, a self-implemented AI model was used, and in the case of drum-beats, lyrics, and verse melody, an AI service that can be found on the internet was used. Vocal used Vocaloid5, a popular singing voice synthesis software.(I'm not sure if this is an AI-based model.)
In particular, I liked the results extracted by AI, which makes the main melody(Introduced in song start and drop part), so I worked around it. The parts I worked on myself and other parts helped by AI were also affected by this.
With so many pieces of music component given in this way, the general music production process was carried out by me and final outcome music was produced.
